alesis qs8.1 weighted 88 note controller... i think if you plan on actually
playing the instrument in any capacity like a piano, then you need the
biggest size controller you feel like purchasing, and preferably weighted..
IF you're just doing note entry in notation software, or building midi
parts, i think the q25 would be just fine... i personally dont consider a
device like the q25 much of a step up from a qwerty keyboard though... you
might get more 'bang for the buck' going with a different brand than
alesis.. maudio maybe...
