Ardour Segmentation fault- won't start at all!

[Alexandros Bitoulas]

I just did:

"sudo apt-get remove ardour" and then "sudo apt-get autoremove" for removing. 

After that I did "sudo apt-get install ardour".

How can I purge the current install? With which command? :)
