I think george is looking for a date when he made the partitions.. I just
look at the data on the partitions to see when they were made, and I've
always been able to figure out what was what... if I were doing something
odd or needed partition creation data, I would just add it.. an info.txt
right on the root of the device that I could add what I want to so I could
be sure what is what... someone mentioned "careful planning"... I think
that is a great idea. Map out what you want and keep your data backed up
for if something goes wrong during a resize, or when the drive fails...
