[ubuntu-studio-users] jack Rosengarden QjackCtl

Am on Ubuntu 12.04, with Studio (not sure what version). 
 
Rosegarden requires Jack to play its Audio samples. 

I cannot seem to get Rosegarden to play through Jack, or indeed 
much response from Qjackctl, at all. 

Rosegarden plays the soundcard's soundfonts OK, if fact plays 
them whether Qjackctrl is On running or Off. 

I set Qjackctl up for my Audio card (hw:1) and loop over a 
sample in Rosegarden. No audio out whether Qjacktl is running or not. 

Do I need 'pasuspend' to stop Pulseaudio script in Qjackctl?
And 'pasuspend -k' to restart it after the session?
