[ubuntu-studio-users] PC slowing down and freezing after upgrade of hardware

Under the Thunderbird version I'm using (v2.0), choose Edit from the 
topmost menu, Account Settings, Composition & Addressing. Uncheck 
"Compose messages in HTML format".
