is the USB stick writeable? And if so, how much free GiB are provided?

It would be nice to own an USB stick with an imprint "Ubuntu" or
similar, to be aware that this is an USB stick with a bootable Linux.
Permanent marker on USB stick unlikely is that durable as such an
imprint.
