[ubuntu-studio-users] Reaper started crashing

Hello,

I am using Reaper on Ubuntu Studio 20.10.

Suddenly (after a regular update), Reaper with not play any videos.
It plays the audio from the video fine. But as soon as I open the Video
player, the app crashes.

I upgraded Reaper, but nothing changed.
I opened it through the terminal,  and it only says: segmentation fault.

It looks as if something was broken after the update - but where to look
for possible hints?
