Sorry, Glenn, I didn't see this part.

Make sure you've downloaded the ISO and verified the SHA256sum via the 
instructions on the website. Beyond that, I don't know what to tell you 
besides you might have an incompatible system. Not every system is compatible 
with the Linux kernel or guaranteed compatible, unfortunately.
