[ubuntu-studio-users] Upgrade Pipewire in 24.04?

Wondering if there are any recommendations for upgrading Pipewire in Ubuntu Studio 24.04.

I'm getting poor results from Rack, and also PW is blocking my webcam. I wonder if a newer Pipewire might resolve those.

The Ubuntu pipewire package for 24.04 remains at PW 1.0.5, which is the version where I'm having those problems. The PW gitlab repository goes up to 1.4.0.

- Is it really strongly inadvisable to upgrade PW, or, I could give it a try?
- How to upgrade, apart from packages?
