There are two reasons why schools should go for Edubuntu:

[1] Edubuntu makes LTSP installation so easy with help from the guide at 
http://www.edubuntu.org/GettingStarted Schools could easily afford to 
have better computer labs by saving substantially over hardware costs to 
provide one terminal per student . It would also be easy to maintain and 
administer the computer lab with the tools provided.

[2] The best selection of free software suitable for children.  The 
schools could start using the applications readily available, and also 
think of building new ones in the local languages.

Organising more demos and workshops for the schools would certainly help.
