[Bug 296867] Re: empathy needs to support OTR encryption

Not having OTR support is inexcusable. It's like a browser that doesn't
have HTTPS. empathy will stay broken until such time when this bug is
fixed.

This is Linux/Gnome, not some bullsh.t commercial application, it is
supposed to have encryption, it is supposed to be interoperable. OTR is
currently the only standard that works for IM protocols.

Including this obviously broken app in the new ubuntu release is a very
bad move, a'la M$.
