[Bug 752623] [NEW] Fails to connect to IRC servers that require paswords

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: empathy

The client reports "network error". It appears that the password is not saved properly to the keyring. 
Freenode seems to work fine.
On some systems the connection succeeded on the first attempt but not afterword.
