I am using ICQ through a Jabber transport (jabber.scunc.net btw.) and it was retrieving the ICQ information in the past, via Pidgin and Psi, correctly. 
After switching to Empathy (2.32.1-0ubuntu1/maverick) the retrieving of additional information does not work. The "Request Contact info" spinner keeps rotating without a timeout. Please tell me if you need more information!
