Yes.

1. launch empathy
2. go Chat -> Search for contacts...
3. in Account, select a gmail e-mail address
4. in the Search bar, type sometypedthing
expected: the Find button enables, so I can click it, so that I can see matches for sometypedthing
actual: the Find button remains disabled
