[Bug 800788] [NEW] [oneiric] empathy-chat eats 100% CPU

Public bug reported:

On my Oneiric system, opening a new chat window spawns an empathy-chat
process consuming 100% CPU. The window soon hangs; it allows me to type
a few characters, reacting slowly before it eventually freezes.
