Hi Brian,

I have been attempting to use empathy to connect to IRC. NickServ will
infor me that my registered name is taken and to either use "/msg
NickServ indentify <password>" or "/help" NickServ will then tell me
that I have been identified as "true2self"
In all honesty, I am not sure if this is a bug, misunderstanding or
configuation issue. On the chat accounts, I have this set up
automatically sign in to NickServ. I am a bit confused and being new
to ubuntu, How do I determine if NickServ has signed me in and doesn't
require additional credentials? Thanks in advance for looking at this.
