The issue is probably not an upstream one bcoz no one there could
confirm it or ever saw it. Its prolly something in Ubuntu.

** Description changed:

- When chatting on msn i added a profile picture through empathy, in the
- chat window the thumbnail shows as a fullsize picture and does not scale
- down. (see included screen)

+ 1. start a guest session
+ 2. start empathy and add a gtalk account
+ 3. chat with a friend from your friends list -- notice something similar to the image in comment #1
+ 4. now go to Edit -> Preferences
+ 5. now notice the chat window.

+ the adium theme is applied only when you first start empathy's
