I really like this idea. I think it would get good publicity too.
In practice a major hurdle initially is the install. I know when I
benefited from a SCLUG install day, it was a major turning point for
me. As it happens I did not use it for some long time following, but,
for me it was *real* it existed, and I had seen it happen! When the
time came to try things for myself, although I was a helpless newbie
for ages, I had the confidence to know that it was really possible.
