Hello, Kris.
Hmm... are you sure your system is loading the kernel module?
Try using:
sudo discover -f "%m\t%M\t%V\n" all
and:
sudo lshw -C network
This should give you an idea about what hardware Linux can detect on
your system. If the module is not loaded try:
modprobe module_name
Where "module_name" is the kernel device driver module for your NIC.
