Howdy John,
Can I also add that the Ubuntu Mozilla Team has a build of IceApe
available in our Preview Archives [0], this is basically the Debian
version of SeaMonkey.. We are still looking for testers for it as it is
intended to be available for Gutsy.. so if you would like to install it
from there it might be easier, (however please remember these are still
preview archives and sometimes the software might be broken)..
