Used the latest version but the problem was the drive. I now have ubuntu
installed as a dual boot on my original maxtor drive.

Enjoying the novelty of it but to be honest the frustration in trying to
sync my phone via usb and 2nd option bluetooth is starting to get to me.
In XP it is pretty straightforward, I just plug in and wander off whilst
activesync does the job. Unplug it and whizz off to earn a crust.

I have read and tried to emulate so many workarounds that I am surprised
my machine is still working.

Evolution and bluetooth just don't seem to want to co-operate with my
Qtek 9100. Ho hum.....
