If it's the PC with only 128MB then a memory upgrade would certainly 
speed it up.  Chances are that the poor machine is swapping bits to the 
hard drive when it's low on memory, other than that, not entirely sure 
off the top of my head.

Does it seem slow when you only have say Firefox open, or is it when you 
have a few apps open?
