Hi Guys
Thanks for the advice... but, its for a production company server, so i
need to be running vmware-server, no options.
I think tomorrow i will start a-fresh (install from scratch) and try
again, failing that i will fall back to a previous release (ive had it
working on 6.06,6.10,7.04 with no problems). The only thing is this is a
brand new server, and 6.06 (which i wanted to install) doesn't support
the NIC, and i thought it would be easier to just use a later version
that try and install kernel patches and stuff to get the network
working!
I see from previous posts that a couple of people have got it working,
so i must have just done something wrong :(
