My list is:

  • terminator - needed.
  • cryptsetup - for my encrypted USB drives.
  • vim-nox - fully featured vim (I don't like the GUI version).
  • snownews - console-based RSS.
  • zsh - because I don't fancy bash. ;-)
  • cmus - music player.
  • openssh-server - so I have easy access to the system
  • ubuntu-restricted-extras for Flash.

And for course some dev stuff like

  • build-essential, cmake.
  • Libraries, LaTeX, and other stuff I need.
