Hello, there is no mailing list, there are some forums, but I'm sure
nobody would mind discussion here.
As for the USB, make sure the fat partition is setup correctly, but
failing that, I guess trying another USB pen would be a good idea, as
I have one that works and one that doesn't. Finally, the updates for
the device are purely the software from what I have seen, they
definitely haven't tried to stop people beeing able to boot another OS
on it.
