Couldn't agree more.
Ask a lot of windows users waht browser they use and the answer will be Vista or Windows 7.  If you tell people they have Linux on their phone they will deny it and tell you it's Android.  People just want to connect to face book, ebay, whatever.  Don't get all 'religious' on them.
