[ubuntu-uk] Fwd: OpenWeek Call for Instructors / Sessions

HI Alan,

this is running so close to the wire, I'm not really sure if I should
mention it. It is planned for 12.04 Lubuntu, but there is actually a squeak
of a chance that for those on low-spec computers who wish to choose Lubuntu
that the LSC may be ready in time. It will have most likely missed deadline
and quite possibly require a ppa for the 11.10 series, but I do know that
for some people lubuntu is about their option and with lubuntu coming
'official' at 11.10 it may be worth bearing in mind. The guy has gone from a
standing start to something that is on its ppa now. It is amazing when
someone takes the bull by the horns, just how quickly they can get things
done in an environment where people are eager for him to succeed and help in
all areas. There after I guess we have to wait two years for a new
innovative approach to things :P just you all wait until the launch of
Grub3... lol

I'm away from ~18th Oct - 1st Nov, If there is anything you feel Lubuntu can
contribute, please do ask. We do have UK based people (along with all others
in EU, R-O-W) who I am sure would be happy to help with for the UK side.
