Personally I use zoneedit with my own domain with ddclient.

http://www.zoneedit.com/dynamicDNS.html

This would be good if you want a custom domain name that isn't no-ip.com or
the like.

What do you mean "evil"?  (I changed from dyndns to no-ip recently
because dyndns annoyed me, but I'm curious as to what others think.)
