The reason that window decorations are apparently added in gkrellm's
default mode would appear to be because of the workarounds for Compiz
that had to be implemented, which changed the way windows are handled by
Alltray so that it works better with compiz.  However, if the package in
the PPA solved your mouse-jumping problem, than the bug was in the way
that Alltray handled windows _before_, so that's fixed at least, and
that would make this bug a symptom of bug 106583, which means that this
issue is a duplicate.

One other thing is that Alltray generally operates with the assumption
that there will be window borders.  There is some xmms-specific
exception to this rule, from what I've seen while working in the
sources, but I haven't had the chance to investigate that any further
than simply knowing of its existence.  If the window decorations are an
issue, though, that would be a separate bug.

On a totally unrelated note, I do find it interesting that you'd want
gkrellm hidden... I'd prefer to see it docked as a panel, myself, but I
guess everyone's got different preferences.  :-)
