A few small things: 
 - according to http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=504980 the cstdlib includes are not necessary and stdio.h should be removed - I'll try that out.
 - please add (LP: #435477) to the changelog entry the next time to it will be automatically closed.
 - according to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebianMaintainerField the maintainer should now be "Ubuntu Developers <ubuntu-devel-discuss at lists.ubuntu.com>" - update-maintainer in the ubuntu-dev-tools package should do that for you.

I'll have a look at this and upload a changed version.
