Just to keep everyone up to date. (we have had a few new members join)
There are currently 3 projects to get involved with. First and most pressing
the B'ham area linux users are planning Alabama Lugfest. There is a meeting
today a Panera Bread (Summit) to discuss the planning of this. we will also
be discussing plans for software freedom day, Sept. 15 2007. Please let let
us know if you would be interested in helping planning either of these
events. We would love to have help.
Finally, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida LoCo's are planning a Linux/Oss
conference for next year around end of July first of August. This is going
to be a Southeastern Show so we are hoping to really draw a crowd.
Again, any help planning or just volunteering to work on some of the shows
would be great!
Lets show them what the Alabama LoCo can accomplish.
Thanks,
