ABLEConf 2008 has been in the making for several months. It is being
organized by volunteers representing a broad coalition of non-profit,
Free and Open Source Software groups located throughout Arizona. It was
conceived from memorable experiences at similar events, and ideas of its
organizers and volunteers. It is designed to bring together the best,
brightest, and most interesting people to explore what is new, as well
as a venue where they can champion the cause of open principles, and
open source adoption across the computing industry in Arizona and the
general populace.
Included in the many speakers giving talks at the conference, our own
Craig Eddy and myself will be giving our own talks. Probably worth it to
come just for a laugh on us!! hee hee Our team will also have it's own
booth/table. Any help at the booth would be appreciated.
Please make of point of attending, and be sure to stop by the booth and
introduce yourself. If you have time to help, it would be greatly
appreciated. Free Wifi at the conference too.
If you need a ride from Tucson, please contact me by replying to this
email and letting me know. Thanks to all the team members who have
worked so hard to help make this a successful event!
