Neekee,

If you've got a computer sitting around, I've found that setting up Ubuntu
is incredibly easy.  If you're only system available is a Windows box, and
you don't feel ready to make a full switch search for Wibu at www.ubuntu.org,
and install Ubuntu within Windows. It's a bit slower,  but better than
running from a live CD, and keeps Windows as an available boot option.  If
you've got a laptop, and can make it, looks like this group is meeting at
eXtreme Bean next Thursday (1/31) around 7:00pm. Anyone there would be more
than able to help you out.  If not, there's an IRC meeting tonight. I'll
forward you the email I got with the details about it.
