[Ubuntu-US-CA] Slow performance on Firefox 3

I was having this problem with Gutsy and Firefox 2.

This sped up my connection dramatically. Not sure if it is the same are your
problem though.

System => Administration => Network
Click Unlock and Enter sudo password
Select Wired Connect and then Click on Properties
Uncheck Enable Roaming Mode
Select Automatic Configuration (DHCP) in the drop down menu.
Click ok.
