Sorry.. although Stallman is a very outspoken person, this article
(although that's a relaxed term for what it is) really doesn't mean
bupkiss to the masses.. they're going to wonder what those statements
actually mean to them personally in every day (to day) uses of their
computer. It leaves a person wondering what is actually at stake with
non-free software. There's no answer to that in the link which I think
would be paramount in understanding the philosophy.
