[Ubuntu Chicago] Ubuntu friendly Mp3/video Player‏

	  I'm looking to buy a portable music/video player, but I want one that
is linux friendly.  What I'm looking for is something that can play
FLAC for music.  I would also like it to be able to play video formats
such as Xvid/Divx, MP4, and even ogg, but ogg is not a deal breaker.

What I'm looking for is something I can load songs and videos onto that I can take on the train and to the Gym.

Does
anyone has a portable media player that they are happy with.  I have
been Googleing for linux friendly mp3 players, but most of the content
has been rather old.
