I hear you, but I want to be clear that our motivation is simply keeping
our environment as simple and manageable as we can. We were already a
Debian shop when I started there, and so we remain.

Personally, I strongly dislike RHEL and how they have manipulated the
LSB to their own ends, but that is neither here nor there. :-)
