I think their logo (Microsoft) is patented & COULD be a cause for law suit if they so desired. Two Types of T's might be a good Idea if enough support/buy them.Message: 2Date: Sat, 18 Aug 2007 08:21:42 -0600From: Andrew <keen101 at gmail.com>Subject: Re: [CoLoCo] T-shirt designTo: Ubuntu Colorado Local Community Team	<ubuntu-us-co at lists.ubuntu.com>Message-ID: <46C70076.10903 at gmail.com>Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Manfred Meiser wrote:> So I was thinking maybe we could use a MS-logo breaking open (fragmenting)with a Ubuntu-logo emerging from behind (maybe radiating) to symbolize the power of the emerging Ubuntu community.???> > Any thoughts about that? The fragmenting ms-logo with the Ubuntu logo behind is neat idea. But, I'm not sure any Microsoft logo should be used. For one, someonemay perceive Ubuntu as some new Microsoft licensed crap. Who knows. Personally, I do not want be associated with Microsoft in anyway. Andalthough I would love to see Ubuntu crush windows as much as the nextguy, I feel as if I have long since abandoned that logo. I'm not discrediting anyones idea which uses a ms-logo, and I would befine if that was the final t-shirt design, but preferably I'd rather notuse it at all.
