For the sake of educational purposes, I am curious to know how the
lack of floating point support will affect one's ability to run
general software (Firefox, Vim, Abi-Word, etc) on such a system. From
a programming perspective, I can understand how certain functions
within an application might be affected without support for floating
point variables, but just from an every-day usability perspective, how
might one's experience be affected using a machine that does not
support this? Based on the hardware specs, I can see that you would
want to run a light weight OS, but what other limitations do you see
without floating point support. Thanks in advance!
