What I have been recommending to Windows users to prepare them for a
Linux jump is Windows-Get http://windows-get.sf.net
Even better than the FOSS CD, because it gives them the same programs,
but also gets them accustom to the software repository system that makes
Linux software distribution so much easier.
Kills two birds with one stone if you ask me.
