Um - "victorious"?  Comparisons to holy war?  I would ask who is the
enemy?

I always use a /home partition, and I agree that it would be good to
find good ways to do partitioning better.  But I think starting with
an "extreme" position and employing this sort of crusade attitude just
*makes* enemies.
