[CoLoCo] need help with keyboard issue...

OK more weirdness...
I added the keyboard indicator to my panel, selected my exact keyboard and
then chose the, ¨Show current layout¨ option.
I can hit any key on the keyboard the appropriate ones light up, no delays,
no sticks, no problems... But as soon as I get back into any GUI, the two
keys mentioned before start sticking (for lack of a better description)
again.
I am going to boot up straight to the command line and see if what happens.
Could it be a Xwindows problem? Who knows?
