[CoLoCo] Education Enthusiasts?

As I was watching the second Matrix movie and playing with my laptop, I
thought I'd hammer out a rough draft of that article.  As I was writing, it
seemed this may work better as a multi-part series.  Its mostly just a
progression of events where we find a free open-source tool that fits the
specific need we have.  I started with our discovery of Krita for some photo
effects.  Next will come Inkscape, and then some other minor pieces.
 Possibly Scribus, although it has been getting a lot of ink lately.
