I did. Below is a copy of my opinion of it.

Ok.

I downloaded the distro and checked it out and am not impressed.

The Good:
* If you've installed Ubuntu, you'll recognize how to do this one. There is
no difference.
* Bright, colorful and fairly easy-to-use interface, once you figure out
what is where.
* The dock has links to mostly web (Google) applications such as docs,
gmail, and blogger. Everything you need if you're someone who just wants to
get on the internet and get into trouble.

The Bad:
* If you're a Ubuntu/Gnome user, you might have trouble finding things.
* Google toolbar (the most useless thing ever offered for Firefox) is
installed by default on your first login.
* Although Open Office is installed by default, it is not linked to from the
dock.

The Ugly:
* The UI. I want to claw out my eyes after only a few moments with this
theme, but the only other theme offered, while it looks decent, doesn't work
well (open up "my computer" and all the file/directory icons overlap each
other, and you cannot move them to see what's underneath).

The caveat for all of this is that the people behind the distro WANTED to
make this a "Google" operating system. They succeeded. Take that for what
it's worth.

All in all, if I knew someone who wanted a computer, didn't know windows,
and wanted to get off cheap, I'd buy one, and install Gutsy.
