I'm happy to help promote Ubuntu, but I just don't think I have the
patience to sit and listen to someone talk about vista. There really
isn't anything to discuss. If you have a machine that came with XP
then you will almost certainly have a slower computer with vista. If
it came with vista you're stuck unless you want to buy XP and
downgrade. Of course you can go to Ubuntu no matter what your machine
(essentially).

I'll leave this to the more level-headed members of the group.
