[CoLoCo] Home music setup

Hi

Here's what I am trying to do:

I want my digital music collection to be accessable by my stereo, without
having my tower right next to my entertainment center.

I'm thinking I need a laptop or something, which would be acceptable. But my
end result is being able to access my files on the tower remotely.

Any suggestions?
