Better?

The problem with MS attachments isn't that they are hard to open, it's
that it sets MS  as the defacto standard and forces others to believe
that they need it. If you don't know about open office you are left
believing that you have to buy MS Office. If you send ODF files,
people will quickly learn about the alternatives. :)
