I agree with you, I run a very Mac like desktop.  Have a look see at the
Kiba Dock.  Its not in the regular repositories, but if you like the Mac
Desktop Environment, you will love kiba dock.

to get kiba-dock add the following repository:
deb http://download.tuxfamily.org/3v1deb feisty eyecandy

note: no gutsy repo yet, but I run this on my gutsy machine with zero
issues.
