[CoLoCo] Ubuntu causing problems with hard drives

It's important to note that the trouble ticket is probably unassigned and
not yet triaged because it isn't fully confirmed... this could (hopefully)
be an issue with just a specific model of hard drive or a certain hard drive
controller (SATA/IDE Interface).
