[CoLoCo] OOXML Victor Has a Price

Well, it looks like even the ISO can be bought. From all that I've read
as I followed this whole crapfest the OOXML format wasn't ready to
become a standard, and the one granted standardization today isn't the
version which MS has implemented in MS Office. What's more there have
been a few cases of voting irregularities prompting one country to ask
that its vote be discarded.

MS may ultimately have a price to pay for all of this with the EU. They
are investigating the ISO voting and thing could go really bad for MS if
they sell anything remotely fishy. Their anti-trust department could
make life for S.B. very hard in the next coming months. Europe is a
very lucrative market for MS, they can't afford to loss it but their
continued access to that market in Europe is totally at the EU whim at
the moment. If evidence that MS bought the ISO vote can be proven then
their access to that market could be taken away or severely limited.
